CHRISTUS Hospital—St. Elizabeth, a 434-bed health care facility, is located in Beaumont, Texas, and is the largest hospital between Houston and Baton Rouge. Sophisticated technology, skilled professionals and compassionate care combine to make St. Elizabeth the regional leader in bariatrics, cardiology, emergency/trauma, imaging/diagnostics, neurology, oncology, outpatient services, rehabilitation, spine/joint, surgery, women and children’s services, wound care/hyperbarics, and is designated as the only Level III Trauma Center in the area.
St. Elizabeth utilizes cutting-edge technology to care for patient’s needs, including advanced clinical documentation systems, electronic medical record document scanning and archival system, and picture archive computer system (PACS) in cardiology and radiology, all of which streamlines physician access to patient medical information. In addition, St. Elizabeth offers bedside medication verification barcode scanning, wireless access for patients and guests, self-service patient kiosks, and mobile PDA devices for medical staff to perform dictation and e-prescribing as well as view clinical results.
The CHRISTUS Outpatient Pavilion
The CHRISTUS Outpatient Pavilion (OPP) at St. Elizabeth offers a convenient, coordinated setting for outpatient services. Dedicated departments within the center include imaging, outpatient surgery, laboratory, diabetes education, Mohs surgery center, and pain management as well as wound care and hyperbaric therapy services. The CHRISTUS Mamie McFaddin-Ward Cancer Treatment Center
The CHRISTUS Hospital—St. Elizabeth offers a full range of diagnostic, medical, surgical, chemotherapy and support services for our cancer patients. Because we understand that cancer is both a physical and spiritual challenge, our surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists and specially trained staff work as a team to help you in making treatment decisions, understanding the effects of treatment, and coping with side effects. CHRISTUS Hospital—St. Elizabeth provides the only free-standing medical facility in the area devoted exclusively to bariatrics. The 9,800-square-foot CHRISTUS Southeast Texas Bariatric Center houses two state-of-the-art surgical suites, recovery areas, seminar classrooms and other educational meeting rooms.
