CHRISTUS Hospital—St. Mary, located in Port Arthur, Texas, is a 227-bed acute care facility providing a comprehensive range of services including orthopedics, cardiology, oncology, birthing, neonatal care, pediatrics, women’s health, imaging, general surgery, emergency services, and is designated as a Level IV Trauma Center. Areas of advanced technology include St. Mary’s heart bypass surgery program and cardiac catheterization services capable of 3D rotational angiography.
To insure patients receive the best care possible, St. Mary provides state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment such as MRI, CT, ultrasound, x-ray and nuclear medicine, including coronary, cardiac, musculoskeletal imaging, as well as breast MRI imaging. New additions to the facility include the Allura X-per FD 20 and the Aquilion 64 CFX CT Scanner.
Since 1996, St. Mary has been the area leader in the diagnosis and treatment of osteoarthritis. More than 2,000 knee, hip, and shoulder replacements have been performed at St. Mary. Staffed by highly-acclaimed orthopedic surgeons in the region, our program offers a comprehensive approach to joint replacement, including a thorough evaluation and personalized treatment plan. Its areas of advanced technology include the hospital’s heart bypass surgery program and cardiac catheterization services capable of 3D rotational angiography, and cardiac alert services allowing EMS service to transmit data to the hospital before a patient arrives.
The CHRISTUS Outpatient Center
The CHRISTUS Outpatient Center is located on 18 acres along Highway 73 in Port Arthur. The 30,000-square-foot center provides easy access to advanced diagnostic imaging services, physical therapy, and lab services.
