Bagels serves daily entrees, sandwiches, soups, salads and specialty coffees from early morning to late afternoon. Bando’s at the Pavilion also has a home in the CHRISTUS Outpatient Pavilion. A popular Beaumont restaurant, Bando’s at the Pavilion is open for breakfast from 7:00 am to 10:00 am and lunch from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Digital Archiving and Communications System
As a fully integrated digital imaging facility, improved efficiency and access to imaging and information at the OPP is provided via a picture archiving and communications system, or PACS. Utilizing secure Internet technology, the PACS internal information system gives physicians and staff the ability to view a patient’s past and current images on large, flat-screen monitors. PACS expands on the possibilities of conventional film archives by providing the capability of off-site viewing and reporting. Patient data can be accessed instantaneously in operating suites, nursing stations, as well as from the physician’s office or home, to aid in prompt diagnosis and communication. PACS replaces hard-copy based means of managing medical images, such as X-ray film archives.

Contact: 409.899.8538
A walk-in lab is located on the first floor of the OPP to provide a convenient location for standard medical laboratory testing. The staff in our laboratory provides patients with friendly, prompt, personal attention.
The lab is open from 5:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Testing is available with a lab request from your physician’s office.
The staff in our laboratory provides patients with friendly, prompt, personal attention. Our close proximity to our Physician Office complex means your physician-ordered tests will be performed efficiently and quickly without having to drive long distances.
Because we understand that the information provided by lab tests are important to your health and wellness, you can rest assured we will provide results to your physician as promptly as possible. You may also request a copy of your lab results by signing a release form available at the OPP lobby information desk or at the reception desk at St. Elizabeth’s main hospital on Calder Street.
To help us serve you efficiently, here are some helpful tips concerning insurance billing and direct payment for laboratory testing:
- Before your visit, please check with your health plan to confirm that your insurance will cover the work performed at the CHRISTUS OPP Walk-in Lab and if there are any restrictions on lab services.
- If you do not have insurance, you will be asked to pay at the time of service. We accept personal checks and all major credit cards for your convenience.
- Some tests ordered by your physician may require professional interpretation by a pathologist. Our walk-in labs contract with Beaumont Pathology Associates (BPA) for this service. As an independent provider, BPA will bill you or your insurance company separately if their services are required.
All CHRISTUS walk-in labs are a division of Laboratory Services at CHRISTUS Hospital—St. Elizabeth. The Laboratory Services department is accredited by the College of American Pathologists.
Outpatient Surgery
Digitally integrated operating rooms and cystoscopy suites accommodate thousands of minimally invasive outpatient surgical and diagnostic procedures yearly at the CHRISTUS Outpatient Pavilion. State-of-the-art equipment is ceiling-mounted, allowing one-touch maneuverability. Private pre-operative and post-operative rooms are enhanced by natural light from skylights and windows to create a calming environment for our patients.
Mohs Surgery Center
Specifically designed to accommodate the state-of-the-art Mohs outpatient surgical procedure, this suite is located on the second floor of the OPP. Because Mohs micrographic surgery is so specialized, there are very few medical centers in the United States which perform the procedure. During Mohs surgery, skin cancer is removed one layer at a time, until all tissues are clear. It relies on the precise mapping of the tumor and the accuracy of a microscope to trace and ensure removal of all cancer cells. Mohs offers the highest cure rate of all skin cancer treatments. The technique removes only the smallest amount of normal skin necessary, minimizing the potential for scarring or disfigurement. Learn more about Mohs surgery.
