CHRISTUS Healthy Living Marketplace and Coffee Cafe
Exciting changes are taking place at CHRISTUS Hospital—St. Elizabeth, including the addition of the new Healthy Living Marketplace and Coffee Café.
The Healthy Living Marketplace offers:
- Beautiful floral arrangements and plants.
- Gift items, candy and balloons.
- Over-the-counter medications.
- Vitamins and nutraceuticals.
- Personal care items.
- Home fragrances and home décor.
- Cards and stationery.
- Magazines.
The Coffee Café offers healthful foods and beverages. In addition, the Healthy Living Women’s Boutique will carry a mineral-based cosmetic line, as well as aromatherapy, fitness, new mother and baby, and image recovery items.
“And as a not-for-profit organization, every penny that comes in is invested back into our community through new technologies, health fairs and services at CHRISTUS Hospital,” says Jerrie Fowler, regional manager of retail services.
The new shop and café opened in early 2008 as part of an overall lobby renovation that also includes the Healthy Living Women’s Boutique, slated to open in May.
The remodel will change the feel of the lobby, Fowler says. “It’s an open, bright, inviting environment—which is convenient and comforting for patients and their families,” she says.
Cyber Cafe Provides FREE Wireless Network
As an additional convenience, the lobby will feature various multimedia stations and free wireless computer kiosks where visitors can surf the Internet, access their personal e-mail accounts to stay in touch with family members or purchase products through the online store.
Convenient, free parking is available at all CHRISTUS Hospital—St. Elizabeth and St. Mary locations, and complimentary valet parking is available at St. Elizabeth's main entrance.
