Surgical Services

The Surgical Department at CHRISTUS Hospital provides an uncompromising standard of care in both inpatient and outpatient settings for patients in Southeast Texas. At CHRISTUS, our surgical teams work together to ensure that the patient comes first in the surgical experience.

Many of our surgeons are leaders in their specialty fields and are supported by state-of-the-art imaging technology, highly-qualified anesthesiologists, and an outstanding nursing team. Surgical Suites

As part of our ongoing effort to provide state-of-the-art equipment and accommodations for all surgical patients, our hospitals continue to upgrade operating suites on our campuses. Operating suites are designed to allow for the medical and technological advances of the future, including image-guided surgical equipment.

St. Elizabeth

In addition to two specially-equipped procedure rooms cystoscopy (urology), the surgical department on the second floor at St. Elizabeth in Beaumont provides 15 surgery suites:

General and specialty surgical procedures—8
Cardiovascular—3
Neurosurgery—2
Orthopedics—2

On the third floor at St. Elizabeth, four surgical suites are available for OB/GYN, as well as three endoscopy procedure rooms.At the CHRISTUS Outpatient Pavilion (OPP) in Beaumont, five surgical suites and one cystoscopy room are available.

St. Mary

Surgical suites in Port Arthur include:

Orthopedics—2

In addition, surgical services at St. Mary provides one cysto suite and three endoscopy suites and six bays for recovery.
